Abstract:
      Temperature has a direct impact on capacity fading of power Li-ion battery during its lifecycle, but the inner temperature of Li-ion battery cannot be measured directly because of the sealed structure. Aiming at this problem, firstly, we estimated the inner temperature of Li-ion battery by measuring the surface and ambient temperature with the use of Equivalent Thermal Model, then build the ETM-Arrhenius (Equivalent Thermal Model-Arrhenius) model based on the inner temperature. So the capacity fading characteristics of Li-ion battery can be predicted accurately during its lifecycle. We conducted cycle life test on Li-ion battery under different temperature,and the result shows that, the ETM-Arrhenius model can predict the capacity fading characteristics of Li-ion battery accurately during its lifecycle.
