Abstract:
      In order to solve the power quality problem of negative sequence current and harmonic current in high-speed railway power supply system, a railway power conditioner system based on YNvd balance transformer is proposed in this paper. This system adopts a novel multilevel railway power conditioner(MRPC)which consists of four H-Bridge links and corresponding output filter inductors. Different from the conventional railway power conditioner based compensation systems, this system integrates MRPC into the phase-β side flexible taps of YNvd balance transformer instead of into phase-b side feeder via a step-down transformer, thus the initial costs are reduced significantly. The topology struc-ture, the equivalent model and the compensation principle are analyzed, furthermore, this paper comes up with the hierarchical control on com-mand current, circulating current restrainingand and link voltage balance. The simulation results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed system.
