Abstract:
      A third-harmonic torque compensation direct torque control(DTC) strategy is proposed for a series-connected drive system of two five-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors(PMSMs) with non-sinusoidal back electromotive force(EMF). First, the mathematical model of the drive system considering the third-harmonic torque is established th-rough coordinate transformation. Based on the control effect of voltage vectors on the torque, the expectation of stator magnetic flux increment in two subspaces are calculated, respectively. Then, based on the stator voltage equations of two motors, the reference values of voltage vector on two planes are calculated. In addition, a duty modulation type space vector modulation algorithm is proposed. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed control algorithm was verified by simulations and experiments.
