Abstract:
      A switched-inductor active impedance converter is proposed in this paper. The operating principle of this converter and the boundary condition in continuous conduction mode are studied. In addition, the calculation of voltage and current stresses and the parameter design for each component of the converter are performed. Results show that the novel converter has features such as high voltage gain, low inductor current stress, and less total number of components. A small-signal dynamic model of the converter is established using the state-space averaging method, proving its stability. Simulation and experimental results verified the effectiveness of the proposed converter.
