Abstract:
Tan-Sun coordinate transformation system can transform three-phase unbalanced AC quantities without zero-sequence components into two orthogonal AC quantities with equal amplitudes, which can be further transformed into two DC quantities without second harmonic components through Park transformation. Based on the above characteristics, Tan-Sun coordinate transformation system is applied to microgrid system under unbalanced voltage conditions so as to realize both the DC decoupling of three-phase unbalanced currents of a three-phase PWM converter and the strict decoupling of the same converter's mathematical model. In this way, both the resonant control method and the extraction method for phase-sequence components can be avoided, which improves the control flexibility and power quality and simplifies the control structure of the converter. Finally, simulation and experimental results verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the application of Tan-Sun coordinate transformation system in microgrid system, as well as its superiority to the positive-and negative-sequence synchronous rotating coordinate systems.
