Abstract:
      Based on a cascade topology consisting of a step-up unit and a step-down unit, a novel type of non-isolated simulation system for metro locomotive is presented to simulate the typical operating conditions and energy feedback process of metro locomotive load. Combined with two diodes that are located at different positions on the cascade topology's negative-potential line, a duty ratio control strategy is proposed to decouple the input and output currents between the two units. A digital simulation platform of the traditional traction power system is built to verify the correctness of simulation system and the feasibility of control strategy. Simulation results show that the simulation system can correctly simulate the typical operating conditions of metro locomotive load, as well as the energy feedback process. As a result, it has a good application prospect in the related researches of urban rail transit.
