Abstract:
      A two-stage circuit topology was proposed in this paper to meet the application demands for a high power density converter used in the field of aerospace, which was with low voltage DC input, middle-frequency of 400 Hz, and 115 V AC output. The pre-stage adopted an input parallel and output series(IPOS) phase shifted full-bridge str-ucture to realize isolation and voltage boost, while the post-stage selected the full-bridge circuit to realize the inverter function. Meanwhile, to suppress the effect on the pre-stage due to the secondary ripple current on the DC side of the single-phase inverter, the pre-stage module adopted a load current feedforward control strategy with wave trap; to further improve the dynamic response of the pre-stage IPOS DC-DC converter, a voltage balancing control strategy under master-slave control was also proposed. Moreover, an improved feedforward control strategy was proposed to improve the dynamic performance and load regulation rate of the post-stage inverter circuit. Finally, the validity of the two-stage inverter control strategy was verified by simulation and experimental results.
