Abstract:
      Abstract: In consideration of the drawbacks of the traditional frequency tracking method for ultrasonic power supply, such as too many machine cycles and a long transient time, an improved variable step-size frequency tracking control method based on resonant-frequency automatic identification is proposed in this paper. This method can calculate the resonant frequency of load in two machine cycles, thus keeping the ultrasonic transducer in a resonant state by variable step-size control. Experimental results showed that the system based on this control method can improve the frequency tracking speed, reduce the transient time, and improve the dynamic response characteristics of the system, which met the requirements of ultrasonic power supply.
