Abstract:
      A novel controller of brushless DC motor(BLDCM) driven by integrated DRV8301 was designed to meet the requirement of accurate control and fast dynamic response of BLDCM. Based on the analysis of PID control algorithm, closed-loop speed regulation was realized by adopting the incremental PID algorithm; digital signal processor(DSP) TMS320F28035 was used as the main control chip of the controller, and a highly integrated drive and protection circuit, a three-phase bridge inverter circuit, and a rotor position detection circuit were designed to simplify the hardware structure; moreover, the controller's software design was also completed. Experimental results demonstrated that the designed BLDCM controller had better control accuracy and dynamic response performance.
