Abstract:
      DC-side voltage control is the key link of shunt active power filter(APF), and a precise design of contro-ller parameters is helpful to the improvement of system performance. Based on the traditional DC-side voltage control model, a small-signal model is established, and a PI parameter tuning method is proposed accordingly. With zero-pole configuration, the small-signal model including right-half plane zero is changed into an ordinary two-order delay system. The selection principle of PI parameters is discussed in detail according to the Routh-criterion and two-step tuning method, and the impact of different PI parameters on the system performance is analyzed specifically. This method can precisely calculate the PI controller parameters when platform parameters are given, and the DC-side voltage can maintain a smaller overshoot while ensuring the system's harmonic compensation performance. Simulation and experimental results of a prototype verified the feasibility of this method.
