Abstract:
      The dynamic performance of power batteries directly affects the indicators of electric vehicles(EVs), such as starting, acceleration, mileage and fast charging. In this paper, the test requirements and method for power batteries are analyzed, and the variable power test which is closely combined with actual pavement conditions is selected with the dynamic stress test(DST) standard power curve as a reference curve. In addition, the requirements of battery te-sting equipment are simulated, and an interleaved bidirectional DC/DC converter is selected as the system's topology; moreover, the operation principle of the converter is elaborated, together with the design parameters and control method. TMS320F28335 was adopted as the control center, and a hardware test platform was built. Experiment results indicated that the proposed control method can realize rapid responses from the interleaved parallel bidirectional DC/DC converter, achieving a bidirectional flow of energy and satisfying the application requirements of EV power battery test.
