Abstract:
      Along with the fast development of distributed generations, more and more active power inverters (e.g., grid-connected inverters, active dampers, etc) are being applied to the distribution network, which requires a high accuracy of harmonic detection for the distorted grid. Considering that the existing harmonic detection algorithms cannot guarantee the output accuracy of distorted grid with DC offset, a novel harmonic detection algorithm based on third-order generalized-integrator(TOGI) is proposed in this paper, which can eliminate the effect of DC-offset on the frequency sel-flalldaptation through the output characteristics of TOGI, thus achieving stable output of angular frequency and improving the detection accuracies of fundamental wave and harmonics of different orders. A simulation is performed in Matlab, and the results show that this algorithm is effective to detect harmonics in the distorted grid with DC-offset.
