Abstract:
      With the widely application of LED Lighting, power factor correction (PFC) research has been developed for this new field. The recent achievement of the research on PFC technique in LED power drivers was reviewed. Research activities on elimination of electrolyte capacitor, novel simple control strategy based on flyback converters, integrated isolated PFC converters, bridgeless PFC circuits, AC directly drive LED converters and phase-cut dimmable PFC Drivers were discussed briefly. Development trend for PFC research on LED application was also analyzed.
