Abstract:To study the influences of different pickup ends on a dynamic wireless power transfer(WPT) system, the Neumann formula is used at first to carry out numerical analysis on mutual inductance to explore the influences of changes in the mutual inductance of a coupling mechanism on the system transmission efficiency and the voltage at the pickup end. Through the equivalent circuit model and Kirchhoff equation, the mathematical model of a dynamic WPT system is established, and the relation between the system transmission efficiency and the quality factor, coupling coefficient, load, and nearby coil resistance is extracted. Afterwards, the coupling mechanisms with different pickup ends were fabricated, including types of single coil, serial and parallel, and the influences on system transmission were analyzed under dynamics. Simulation results agreed with the experimental results, which proves the validity of conclusions given in this paper.
